Blog Posts Suddenly Not Displayed Issue & Fixes

Just a few hours ago, we received emails on several BlogrCart Mukabuku Elite users that their blog posts on all pages are not showing up. Crunch time for us to find out why. Took several hours to figure it out. But we did notice that several changes/ updates were made for the Blog1 widget internal default functions. After looking carefully, the new conditional markup provided by Blogger was missing a comma, which is used to display blog page using the Blog1 widget. If you are facing the problem, in template HTML > jump to Blog1 gadget > & 3 lines down > add a comma " , " in between the Blogger conditional codes. View screenshot for your reference. Click Save Template and you are all set. Facebook Like to Alternative Page Issue & Quick Fixes

For the past week, BlogrCart Mukabuku Elite witnessed a faulty Facebook like to alternative page issue & #blogrcart community quickly alerted us on the errors occurred. For the easy quick fix, we have already delivered the tutorials via email to #blogrcart Mukabuku Elite users & upcoming Full Featured theme users will get their updated copy (with additional license) too. The Cause The issue detected was the use of canonical url's used throughout #blogrcart Mukabuku Elite internal pages for linking. In certain environments, these url's could be used with the custom Like button functions. Due to inconsistencies, we reverted back using Blogspot country to specific url's for internal pages to allow the custom Like button to function again in all environments.

Blogger Shopping Store Template Label Dropdown Text Overflow Issue & Fixes

BlogrCart Mukabuku Elite theme comes pre-installed with 4 custom dropdown Labels widget/gadget where users could customize to display groups of category/label of choice for easy product searches. At the dropdown Labels/categories widget/gadget, overflowed text is displayed if Blogger store owner added a long text Labels for a published product post. To overcome this issue... Go to Blogger Dashboard > Template > click the Customize button > find Advanced link > and copy & paste below codes inside the Add CSS box displayed at the right panel ... @media (min-width:768px) { .list-wrapper .dropdown-menu > li > a { white-space:normal; } } Click Apply to Blog button & preview your template changes. This is the theme framework dropdown links styling issue but you can easily override the styles without editing your Blogger template codes using the method stated here.

Removing No Country Redirect (NCR) for blogspot.com Shopping Template

BlogrCart Mukabuku Blogger shopping template comes pre-installed with the No Country Redirect (NCR) for blogspot.com domain. Which means throughout your blog store site, your url's will be using the .com extensions & not the country specific extensions (where available). This is deliberately pre-installed in order for your blogshop store to use consistent urls structure since that your users will be sharing your product posts coming from different countries. If your store is focused for country specific users, you can remove the directive from BlogrCart Mukabuku Elite template codes easily. Update Url for Send Order Page with Form Checkout

With BlogrCart Mukabuku Elite download files, full template codes & sample pages has been included weather for freemium or the full featured versions. The sample pages really helps out speed up install as it will help build the checkout form, success & error page. In some cases, especially when not installing this theme from a fresh template install, the send order urls at the view cart buttons does not link to your checkout page with form. This is Blogger servers specific issues because how the url's given for a blog depends on the availability of you page titles. There are 2 ways for you to easily update the send order page with form urls at you Blogger store. Use the Config Widget Included with theme is the custom configuration widgets which can help users easily without knowing to code or even touching your theme codes. Go to Dashboard > Store Config widget > click Edit > & enter below parameters & values... Name Field: send_order_url Link Field: the new url to your send order page. How to Add Mobile Home Screen Apps Icon

BlogrCart Mukabuku Elite theme also comes with mobile apps icons which will display on mobile devices if a user bookmark your Blogger store. The icons will display at user's smart phone Home Screen if saved/bookmarked weather on IOS or Android powered phones. In the full featured theme download files, we have included sample icons which you can use to find out the sizes required. How To Add Fallback Product Image if None Was Found

The meta tags which comes with BlogrCart themes are very powerful, especially in helping to expose your product & pages in search engine results. These tags are used by social media services to retrieve the necessary information of your published pages. By default, in Mukabuku Elite full featured theme, we have included fallback image, if however an image could not be found from your page when sharing to social networks etc. You can customize or add in your own image to use as fallback image if an image could not be retrieved. Go to Template Editor > backup if necessary > Now find below codes (highlighted yellow) & replace it to your uploaded image. Use Ctrl+F & type the keyword at the search bar (inside code editor) > press enter.
